Aaron Gani: Founder & CEO, BehaVR

Aaron Gani has been creating applications and experiences with technology throughout his career in healthcare and financial services, up to and including serving as Chief Technology Officer of Humana, a Fortune 50 managed care organization.

After more than a decade in healthcare leading technology development and innovation in population health, disease management programs, pharmacy, primary care, urgent care, Health IT, and clinical analytics, and constantly working on ways to improve and empower consumer health with technology, data, and analytics, Gani resolved to create scalable solutions to the massive unmet needs in mental and behavioral health and believes Virtual Reality therapeutic experiences can close that gap.

Gani is a founding member of the Strategic Advisory Board of the Digital Medicine (DiMe) Society, and a founding advisory board member of the International Virtual Reality Healthcare Association (IVRHA). Gani holds a Master’s in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University, an MBA, General Management and Health Sector Management from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a BS in Management/CIS from the University of Louisville.


Himanshu Chaturvedi: Head of XR Engineering, BehaVR

Himanshu is a Medical Virtual Reality specialist and brings years of research and engineering experience in VR in the medical and commercial domains. His work has been published in the top VR journals.

He believes that the immersive power of VR can bring substantial improvements in people’s health and lifestyle by motivating them to stay on the right track. He loves working on early-stage projects which allow him to significantly contribute towards the shape of the product and is leading the engineering efforts at BehaVR.

Himanshu holds a Master’s in Computer Science from Clemson University specializing in Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of Pune.


Brandon Hedges: Senior XR Software Engineer, BehaVR

Brandon is a Senior XR Software Engineer who brings a diverse engineering skillset to the table. With extensive experience in VR and full-stack development.

He loves building VR applications for healthcare use cases and he believes in the positive impact Virtual Reality has on patient outcomes.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also taught Video Game Implementation for the Information Science School as an Adjunct Instructor in the past.


Eleanor Anderson: Technical Artist/3D Generalist/Experience Designer, BehaVR

Eleanor is an artist with multiple focus areas, including computer animation, VR design, 3D art, and illustration. Her MFA thesis film, Carnival Entropic, won Best Animation at the Ridgewood Guild International Film Festival in 2019, and has been screened in several countries. She also has teaching experience in traditional and digital art-making methods.

Eleanor completed her Master of Fine Arts at William Paterson University of New Jersey. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Based out of Nashville, Eleanor works as a technical artist and 3D generalist at BehaVR. She is passionate about both the entertainment and therapeutic uses of virtual reality. As part of the BehaVR team, she is dedicated to using her technical and creative skills to improve physical and mental health through VR.
